Anita Barone

Anita Barone, a stage actress with a range of skills who is mostly associated with sitcoms in TV, got the best chance to shine on screen as Jeff Foxworthy's wife in ABC's "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" which ran for just one season, from 1995 to. Barone was the first to make a performance on stage at the age of five in Detroit, where she was born after moving with her family to the city from St Louis. By the time she turned 23, Barone had already appeared in 50 shows. Many of them took place at regional or university theaters. Some of her stage performances included Juliet of "Romeo as well as Juliet," Helen Keller in the production in "Monday After the Miracle" and the role of Agnes an innocent nun, as in "Agnes of God." in 1987 she played an appearance in a movie known as "Ricochet". She also was in the scene of "The Rozary Murders". And in 1996, she played the main character in an independent romantic comedy called "Just Friends". Barone had her first notable Hollywood film role in the form of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-91) - - the failed effort by Carol Burnett in trying to revitalize the comedy sketch program. Barone was also in"Wounded Heart," the USA Network movie "Wounded Heart" in 1995. She returned to weekly sitcoms and co-starred in "Daddio", NBC 2000 and co-starring with Michael Chiklis.
